The Antigua Yacht Club Pier Resort is the ideal place for the independent visitor, who wishes to see more of Antigua the inside and outside of a bling five star beachfront shrine. The kind of folks who take this sort of holiday in Antigua will very likely have an interest in sailing, and will about certainly hire a vehicle. The hotel hosts the famous Antigua Sailing week, but it has got a certain buzz to it all the time, with the arrival and exit of people staying for a couple of days before venturing back to sea in their yachts and gin palaces. Do not be put off by the outline of a budget hotel, this hotel in Rodney Bay Hamlet will give you great good value. A Boutique Hotel at Budget costs in St Lucia at Rodney Bay City doesn't seem to be a practical offer, but the four star prize winning Coco Palm Hotel manages to do that, and even rather more.

Coco Palm has 72 rooms and flats, and is rated in the top three hotels in Gros Islet in St Lucia, winning the Budget Travel Award 'Best Values 2008 ' covering the Caribbean. Here is where the slight problem may arise, because everyone has an opinion of a budget hotel and it's not generally a brilliant one, but Coco Palm breaks the mould. The hotel grade is four star, but with a difference. There's no formal reception desk and concierge. All you may see are all smiles staff who await your pleasure in the hotel lobby. There are a great many them, and you will get asked all the time if you need anything in the slightest to lift things for you. This is great to experience. Guests comments are always deeply exposing, and when you hear words like 'Perfect and Relaxing ', or as strong as 'Out of this World ', then your interest has to pick up. Add to this a comment like 'Great experience in a superb hotel ', and 'Great experience stunning vacation in a great location ', you have to really perk up and pay some attention, that Coco Palm may indeed be a budget hotel, and it sounds a little like a quality boutique hotel.

One delighted consumer even compared the standard of non-public service to one of the top hotels in the Caribbean, which is a rare compliment indeed. You will find the staff at the Coco Palm Hotel go out of the way for you, and they make a good atmosphere due to this. The property itself with the bright sort of red roofs and yellow front has a North EU feel to it, yet it is intensely Caribbean. One of the nice things about this place for a holiday in St Lucia, is that it's relatively small, so not at all impersonal. Rooms are huge, toilets have rain showers, and the pool is great, with no issues getting sunbeds, and that in itself helps make your holiday superb for relaxing, with no prerequisite to rise at 4am to get a place round the pool. Though not on the beach the locale of the Coco Palm is handy for groceries,, a wine shop and a couple of eateries are inside only one or two mins walking time. Try the Red Snapper and Dolphins, they are easily worth a visit.

If you like ice cream then there's an ice cream shop close by too.

Meals in the hotel are taken at the Ti Banana Eaterie and Bar, with well priced satisfying meals. The individually priced breakfast menu is extraordinarily good, with a minimum cost cold breakfast, but if you want the hot smorgasboard the price goes up, and then you can select more dishes and the price goes up again.
